Content calendar got a little wacky😋... Here’s our first set of mom’s postop pics from a few months ago - super early, just 3 weeks after surgery. At this point, with a little careful makeup and hairstyling, most people are pretty comfortable going out in public again. Swelling is most noticeable near the temples and under the chin, and these are the areas where swelling tends to wax and wane for a little while postoperatively. This lovely 64 year old woman came to Greenville all the way from Spokane, WA, for her facial rejuvenation procedure🗺️. She came back to see us last week, and although she still has a bit of swelling, we think she's looking fantastic so far!! It was truly a joy following up with her because she was so warm, energetic, and happy with her results🥰 . In particular, I love how bright and refreshed her eyes look and how defined her jawline & neck look🌟. We are so thankful to her for allowing us to share these photos, and we can't wait to watch her progress over the next few months!!

➡️ 4.5 Months After Rhinoplasty 👃

This patient just wanted to get his nose a bit straighter and achieve some refinement on his profile 🙂 It's really important to keep the nose looking masculine when doing a rhinoplasty for a man, and we think his result is a nice example of how the appearance of the nose can be improved while still looking natural and appropriately masculine. Here are some additional pictures of the patient we posted a little while ago - sans makeup😋 (her skin is a little bit red because we had just taken her makeup off)

One little technical note... I did something I call "hybrid" fat grafting for her. Microfat is fat that is sized down to small particles with the goal of adding volume. Nanofat is sized down even further until it basically becomes a mix of growth factors & stem cells without any mature, viable fat cells - think: PRP on steroids. I combine Nano- and microfat in a 4:1 ratio and inject it diffusely with a subcision-like technique in areas with thin skin and moderate wrinkles/photodamage. I do this fairly frequently around the mouth hoping to achieve the following:
1) Adding growth factors and stem cells to tissue (nanofat)
2) Adding just the slightest hint of volume - almost just "rehydrating" what's been deflated (microfat)
3) Breaking up some of the dermal adhesions responsible for wrinkles (subcision)

I think lines around the lower face and mouth are some of the most difficult to treat, and I've been happy with the results I've seen when combining that technique with CO2 laser resurfacing!

I'm really excited to continue watching her results evolve over the coming months as healing continues!✨

➡️ 4 Months Post-Rhinoplasty 👃✨

We've had a run of facial rejuvenation results, so maybe it's time to post a rhinoplasty 🙂 For this lovely patient, we focused on improving tip refinement and symmetry, as well as smoothing her profile a bit. One of the goals of rhinoplasty is to create a smooth "dorsal aesthetic line", which means there is a smooth curve tracing from the patient's brow and along the side of the nose to the tip. While there is still a smidge of swelling at 4 months, we're loving the changes so far! Big thank you to this patient for allowing us to share her photos! 🥰

One of the primary goals during deep plane face & necklift is redefining and sculpting the neckline + lengthening and smoothing the jawline - I think this lovely patient showcases both of those goals quite nicely 🙌🏼 Additionally, we did a conservative browlift to ensure the skin at the temple lays nicely and also make the eyes pop a little👀 - this is the second patient we've posted lately with beautiful green eyes, and I love how bright they look postop!! 🥰 Big thank you to this patient for allowing us to share her photos! 💚
