We’re so excited to welcome Elisabeth, our Clinical Fellow (CF), to the AID-L team! 🗣️🙌
Elisabeth recently joined our team after graduating from the University of Tennessee, and we’re so excited for the experience, energy, and heart she brings to our practice! 🌱💙

🗣️ What inspired you to become an SLP?
“My mom was a school-based SLP, so many of my early memories are hanging out in her speech room after school and playing with all the fun materials! I later became a peer tutor in high school for our special education classrooms, where I had the opportunity to talk with the school SLP about what she does and her favorite parts of her job. From there, I researched and shadowed SLPs and fell in love with the profession! I love the connections we can make and the impact we can have on our families’ lives!” 💝
🫶 What’s your favorite thing about working at AID-L?
“I haven’t been here long, but I already love the inviting and supportive culture at AID-L. The families and staff have all been fantastic and so welcoming!”
🏡 Where did you grow up? Greenville, SC!
🍝 What’s your favorite food/snack? Pasta is her favorite! Her go-to snacks are salt & vinegar chips, fruit, and popcorn. 😋
🎬 What is your all-time favorite movie? Ratatouille!

🌿 What’s your favorite thing to do in Greenville?
Walking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail and trying all the yummy restaurants downtown with her fiancé, friends, and family!
☕ What’s your go-to coffee/tea order? An iced vanilla latte!
🐶 Do you have any pets?
Not yet! But she and her fiancé are hoping to get a dachshund soon. 🐾
🎳 What is your favorite game or activity to do in therapy? “I love doing activities with movement to get the kiddos up and active! Some of my favorites are obstacle courses, swinging, and bowling!” 🛝
