There are some jobs that you don’t think much about until you see what actually goes into them.

This is one of those.

Megan and Jen are the two people behind every allergy serum made at ADAC — and after spending some time in the extract lab, we have a new appreciation for just how much happens back there. The attention to detail. The tiny measurements. The paperwork. The sheer number of little vials. All day, every day.

It’s the kind of work most patients will never see, but thousands of them benefit from.

So we figured these two deserved a little moment. 💚

We figured the best way to celebrate 50 years wasn't with a fancy dinner or a speech...

It was by inviting the community that's been part of those 50 years.

So come spend a Saturday with us. We've got local vendors, live music, a petting zoo, inflatables, shaved ice, coffee, free asthma screenings, and plenty of reasons to stick around for a while!

It's a tiny change in wording, but it changes the way you think about allergies.

Instead of asking, "Are allergies bad today?" try asking, "What am I reacting to today?"

That one question leaves room for curiosity instead of assumptions—and in allergy & immunology, that's usually where the interesting answers are.

We've been looking forward to this one for a while. 😊

This year, ADAC turns 50 (woah!), and we're celebrating with a community event on *Saturday, August 1*!

There will be local vendors, live music, free asthma screenings... and a few surprises we're not quite ready to spoil yet. 😉

Fifty years feels like a big milestone because it is. 🎉

What started as the Upstate's first allergy practice in 1976 has grown into five locations, more than 60 team members, and the privilege of caring for thousands of families across our community every year.

A lot has changed over the last five decades, but one thing hasn't: our commitment to helping people breathe easier and live life with fewer interruptions from allergies and asthma.

Whether you've been with us for decades or just found us recently, thank you for letting us be part of your story!

We're not going to cram 50 years into one post. 😊
