Welcome New Gastroenterologist! Hunt Regional Specialists Gastroenterology is pleased to introduce Faisal Mehmood, MD, who is joining Dr. Khatib in Greenville, TX.
With over a decade of experience, Dr. Faisal Mehmood is a board-eligible gastroenterologist with specialized training in internal medicine, transplant hepatology, and gastroenterology. He completed his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai, where he served as chief resident. He most recently held the role of chief gastroenterology fellow at HonorHealth in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Mehmood brings extensive experience in both hospital-based and outpatient settings, enabling him to diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver disorders. He is committed to delivering compassionate, comprehensive, patient-centered, and evidence-based care to support and enhance the digestive health of our community.
