Today, we are honored to announce that O’Brien Pharmacy has officially joined the Kelly’s Pharmacy family.
For more than 75 years, Sean O’Brien, his father, and the entire O’Brien Pharmacy team have built something truly special in Ballston Spa. They created more than a pharmacy. They built relationships, earned trust, and became part of the fabric of their community. That kind of legacy cannot be bought. It can only be earned, one patient at a time.
As pharmacists ourselves, we have tremendous respect for what Sean and his family have accomplished. We know firsthand the hard work, long hours, and commitment it takes to build an independent pharmacy that generations of families rely on.
We are proud of what we’ve built at Kelly’s Pharmacy over the years, and when the opportunity arose to continue the O’Brien legacy, we knew it was something we could not pass up.
Most importantly, patients can expect the same familiar faces they know and trust. We are excited to retain 100% of the O’Brien Pharmacy staff, including Hannah, Emily, Brandon, Sarah, Haley, and Hadley. Their dedication to the community has been a major part of O’Brien Pharmacy’s success, and we are grateful they will continue serving Ballston Spa.
While ownership may be changing, the mission remains the same: take care of people, do what’s right, and provide the kind of personal service that only an independent pharmacy can offer.
Sean and his family have carried the torch for decades. We are humbled by the opportunity to carry it forward.
