I snuck down to Belfast for a couple of wonderful days.
Sunday brought a delicious family dinner with the Bowles family, and last night I had the joy of putting together an enchanting garden soirée. It may have been the most elegant smash burger party ever.
My friends Bob and Anne Marie have the most magical secret garden. Absolutely breathtaking. We pulled beautiful pieces from Anne Marie’s collection of tableware that hadn’t seen the light of day in years. I love bringing treasured things back into service. Beautiful tables have a way of slowing us down and inviting us to linger.
This kind of entertaining is right up my alley.
As a private chef, I don’t just cook. I create an entire experience. From dreaming up the menu and sourcing beautiful ingredients to styling the table, layering textures, creating atmosphere, and making every detail feel effortless, I love transforming an ordinary gathering into something people remember long after the last bite. Today I swung into Sweet Monkey Business to pick up an order, and stepping into that buzzing kitchen always fills my tank. The effervescent Anna hooked me up, and she even got a little Storme time.
It’s no secret how much I love Belfast.
Now I’m back at the lake, inspired and ready to hit the kitchen tomorrow to bring you some culinary delights.
