Congratulations on returning to the classroom! Watching you step back into teaching feels like the beginning of a beautiful new chapter.

Thank you for putting your career on hold to fully support me, and for wholeheartedly embracing the role of stay-at-home daddy. Those years were never “just” staying home, they were some of the greatest gifts our family has ever received. Our children had the privilege of growing up with you by their side every day, and those memories are priceless.

Now it’s your turn, and I couldn’t be more excited to watch you do what you were made to do. Your students are gaining an incredible teacher, mentor, and musician.

Here’s to new beginnings, new adventures, and making music with your new AMS family. They have no idea how lucky they are.

Most of our spotlights have been returning staff members, but today we introduce you to a NEW KNIGHT! Mr. Wunker is new to AMS, but he is not new to instilling a love of music in his students. An ECU Pirate alum, Mr. Wunker will be our Band and Orchestra teacher.

We are excited to see how Mr. Wunker works in concert (see what we did there) with our Fine Arts Team to Elevate. Every Day. Every KNIGHT!
