The Hunt Regional internal medicine residency program lasts 3 years, and now includes first, second, and third-year residents. These MDs and DOs are increasing their specialty knowledge while serving our community by caring for hospital and clinic patients under the guidance of physician advisors. The Internal Medicine Residents Clinic is a primary care clinic to treat temporary or chronic medical conditions, often at a reduced cost.

Welcome New Surgeon! Hunt Regional Specialists General Surgery is pleased to introduce Alexandra Green, DO.
Dr. Alexandra Green is a board-eligible general and trauma surgeon with comprehensive training in acute care surgery and a broad range of general surgical procedures. After achieving her bachelor's and medical degrees in Texas, she completed her internship and residency at Texas Health Resources Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, a Level I Trauma Center, where she developed extensive experience in both elective and emergency surgical care, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques. Dr. Green is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based surgical care and supporting patients through every stage of treatment and recovery.

The pharmacy at Hunt Regional Medical Center, called The Pharmacy at Hunt Regional, will be closing for business on October 14, 2026. The last day to pick up prescriptions from this pharmacy will be October 14 by 2:00 pm. This pharmacy is owned and managed by a third-party organization, which recently sold. The new company has made the decision to discontinue operations at this location.

For continuity of care and convenience, eligible prescriptions with remaining, unexpired refills will be transferred to The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy located at 3001 Joe Ramsey Blvd. E, Greenville, Texas on October 15, 2026. Questions regarding prescriptions may be directed to The Medicine Shoppe at 903-455-7200 or your medical provider’s office. Prescriptions may be transferred to another pharmacy, if desired.

The inpatient pharmacy at Hunt Regional Medical Center, used for surgeries, overnight patient care, clinics, etc., will not be affected by this change.
