New Role: Amanda Rametta, SLP, with the Wake County Schools OEL, will assume the role of Kinetic SLP Team Leader for this department July 1, 2026. Amanda will coordinate the Kinetic Team for the OEL program. She will disseminate information and serve as the key contact with Marie Simmons, OEL SLP Leader, to execute the needs identified by the Ms. Simmons. She is creating a support document for the Kinetic OEL team to ensure smooth operations in collaboration with Marie. Please join me in welcoming her to this new role.

Hi everyone! I'm excited to be stepping into this new leadership role and wanted to share a little about myself. I've been with the Kinetic team supporting OEL-Wake County (Office of Early Learning) for almost two years, and I've worked as a speech-language pathologist for over 15 years. During that time, I've had the opportunity to work with both children and adults in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, clinics, homes, and daycares. One of the things I'm most looking forward to in this role is helping strengthen communication
and support across our team. My goal is to help create an environment where everyone feels connected, supported, and comfortable reaching out when they need help, have questions, or want to share ideas.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me outside, practicing yoga, or spending time with my husband and our two daughters, Lennon and Nora. Fun fact: I'm also a certified yoga instructor!
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone even better and continuing to work alongside such a great team.
