Tonight, Hunt County EMS put a new resource into service! Our new UTV was deployed at the Lone Oak JV football game, giving our crews
another tool to provide fast, effective care at special events.
This unit is much more than just another vehicle. Equipped to carry a patient on a stretcher along
with EMS personnel and ALS medical equipment, it allows our crews to quickly reach patients in
areas where a traditional ambulance may have difficulty accessing.
From football stadiums and community events to fairs, festivals, large gatherings, this unit will help us get to the patient faster, begin treatment sooner, and
safely move patients to a waiting ambulance when needed.
As Hunt County continues to grow, we want our capabilities to grow with it. Investments like this
give our crews the right equipment to adapt to different environments while continuing to provide
the level of service our communities expect.
Tonight at Lone Oak was its first assignment, but we expect this unit to serve communities
throughout Hunt County for years to come.
