We accept ALL insurance companies (including all Medicare and all Kentucky Medicaid) and offer a sliding scale discount to our patients based on income. Most appointments are available on the same day or within 24 hours. Walk-in patients at Kids Express are handled on a first-come, first served basis. Patients may call 24 hours a day to be connected to a nurse to answer any urgent health questions:

We’re proud to celebrate Patience Spence, APRN, on being awarded a $75,000 National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program award through HRSA for specializing in Pediatric Primary Care.

The NHSC Loan Repayment Program is a highly competitive federal program that supports clinicians who commit to providing primary care in underserved communities. This award provides $75,000 in tax-free educational loan repayment in exchange for a two-year service commitment at an eligible health center.

Patience’s selection is a testament to her dedication to our patients and our mission. We’re proud that Community Health Centers of Western Kentucky participates in programs like NHSC that help recruit and retain outstanding providers while expanding access to quality healthcare in our communities.
