We provide job training and employment services to persons with disabilities in Pitt and its surrounding counties in Eastern North Carolina. ECVC funds its mission through the manufacturing of picture/certificate frames and battery terminal lugs, battery packaging & distribution, custom framing and chair caning. Our mission is to help persons with disabilities attain a higher quality of life throu

gh the achievement of their vocational goals. Our vision is to be:

At a recent staff meeting, James Stewart of ECVC Janitorial was recognized for completing his registered apprenticeship through the Apprenticeship NC program, earning the title of Journeyworker. This nationally recognized credential will remain with James throughout his career—a significant professional achievement (though we certainly hope he continues his career with ECVC!).

John Coward, Operations Manager of Off-Site Contracts, including Janitorial and C&D, praised James for his strong work ethic and dedication. He noted that James is always willing to help his coworkers, takes pride in making sure each job is completed correctly and on time, and consistently goes the extra mile to meet the needs of ECVC's customers.

Congratulations, James, on this well-deserved accomplishment!
