👩‍👧 “My Child Is Just Acting Out…” (Or Are They?)

What looks like “bad behavior” is often:
• Anxiety
• Overstimulation
• Difficulty regulating emotions
• Feeling misunderstood

Kids don’t always say:
“I’m overwhelmed.”

They show you.

✨ Behavior is communication.

Instead of asking:
“What’s wrong with them?”

Try asking:
“What are they trying to tell me?”

If your child is struggling, early support makes a huge difference.

📱 Teens don’t always say “I’m struggling”…

Sometimes it looks like:
• attitude
• shutting down
• staying in their room

👇 Parents—have you noticed this lately?

There’s usually more going on underneath 💙

👨‍👩‍👧 Little feelings can be BIG feelings 💭💙

Sometimes kids don’t have the words to explain what’s going on inside… but their behavior can tell us a lot.

✨ Signs your child may be struggling:
• Frequent anger or irritability
• Trouble focusing or paying attention
• Changes in sleep or appetite
• Avoiding school or activities
• Increased worries or anxiety

As parents, it can be hard to know what’s “normal” and what’s not — and that’s okay. You’re not alone in figuring it out. 🤍

Early support can make such a big difference in a child’s confidence, emotions, and overall well-being.

Mental health care for children is all about:
💙 Support
💙 Building coping skills
💙 Involving the whole family

You’re doing a great job just by paying attention. 💫
