🎢✨ Welcome to “Competency Land” at Greenwich Hospital!

Our nurses recently stepped into a fun, theme-driven version of Nursing Competency Day—an important annual event where clinical skills are demonstrated, reviewed and validated to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Held three times a year, this initiative helps every nurse stay current with best practices, meet regulatory standards and identify opportunities for growth. This year’s playful theme brought energy and engagement to serious skill-building, proving that learning can be both impactful and fun!

After years of searching, she found a new path forward through Greenwich Hospital and its Interventional Psychiatry Services.

Ketamine (esketamine) therapy is an innovative option for patients with treatment‑resistant depression, and for Justine, it brought a renewed sense of hope and relief after a lifetime of struggle.

An allergy diagnosis does not always mean it is forever.

As children grow, their immune systems are constantly learning and adapting. What may trigger a reaction at one stage can shift over time, sometimes becoming more manageable or even fading altogether.

At the same time, new environments and experiences can introduce different triggers, which is why symptoms may change as your child gets older.

Understanding that allergies can evolve helps take some of the uncertainty out of the process and allows for more flexible, informed care over time.

Many people don’t realize sepsis is a medical emergency that requires fast action. The best way to protect yourself and your loved ones is by knowing the warning signs and seeking immediate medical care if you suspect an infection is worsening: http://ynh.care/1mR
