Greenwich Hospital, founded in 1903, has been a member of the Yale New Haven Health System since 1998 and is an academic affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine. We are a progressive 174-bed regional medical center and teaching institution serving residents of Fairfield and Westchester counties. Approximately 40 percent of the hospital’s patients now come from New York communities. Yale New Haven Health leadership, physicians and staff celebrated the expansion of Old Saybrook Medical Center by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. The completion of this major expansion and renovation enhances access to specialty care and diagnostic services throughout the shoreline region with new services including an MRI suite, Interventional Psychiatric Services and Urogynecology. Existing services have been enhanced as well, with expanded offerings in therapeutic infusion, heart and vascular care, and ear, nose and throat (ENT).

"This expansion represents our continued commitment to bringing exceptional, convenient care closer to where our patients live and work," said Pamela Sutton-Wallace, acting chief executive officer for Yale New Haven Health. "By growing our services and adding new specialties, we are improving access, reducing wait times and ensuring patients throughout the shoreline community receive the care they need closer to home."
