I just read this incredible piece on the power of finding our voice and telling our story after betrayal. It has me thinking about how storytelling can help us make meaning from painful experiences, reclaim authorship of our own lives, and move toward healing.

There are chapters we never would have chosen—but we still get to decide what we write next.

More to come on this one… 🤍

It’s time to have the audacity.

One of the highlights of this week was attending the EFT Triage Conference in Las Vegas, focused on betrayal trauma.

Betrayal has the power to shake the very foundation of how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. As therapists, it’s our responsibility to continue learning how to compassionately support individuals and couples through some of life’s most painful experiences.

I’m leaving with new insights, renewed inspiration, and deep gratitude for the incredible presenters, colleagues, and conversations that challenged me to think more deeply about healing after betrayal.

Growth doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when we’re willing to remain students of our craft.

I’m excited to bring what I’ve learned back into my work with the individuals and couples I have the privilege of serving.

For a long time, I’ve wanted a space to write beyond the therapy room.

Today, I’m excited to share my very first blog and Substack article!

Writing has always helped me make sense of the world, and I hope these reflections offer a place for curiosity, connection, and meaningful conversation.

In the months ahead, I’ll be writing about topics that are close to both my heart and my work, including:
- Attachment and relationships
- Financial therapy and the emotional side of money
- Personal growth and self-awareness
- Living with greater intention, integrity, and alignment
- The intersections of psychology, yoga philosophy, and everyday life

My hope isn’t to have all the answers. It’s to ask thoughtful questions, share what I’ve learned, and invite reflection along the way.

If any of those topics resonate with you, I’d love for you to follow me on Substack. Thank you for reading, for supporting my work, and for being part of this next chapter.

My first essay, What Does Integrity Look Like When It Costs Us Something?, is now live. I can’t wait to hear what you think.

One thing I’ve been reflecting on recently is how often people confuse seeing themselves as a person with integrity with living a life of integrity.

Today was a big milestone for me! It was my first time presenting at the ACMA National Conference.

I had the privilege of speaking on Resilience in Case Management from a Therapist’s Lens, and I left feeling incredibly grateful.

Grateful for the audience, for the conversations, and for the reminder that so many people in healthcare are not only committed to their work, but also open to caring for themselves in the process.

This work matters. These conversations matter. And I’m so honored to be part of it. Thank you!! 💛
