We were honored to welcome Senator Danny Verdin, Chairman of the South Carolina Senate Medical Affairs Committee, to Self Regional Healthcare's Cancer Center. During his visit, Senator Verdin met with members of our Cancer Center team and Self Regional Healthcare leadership, toured our facilities, and learned more about the comprehensive cancer services available throughout our region.

The discussion highlighted our continued commitment to expanding access to care through advanced treatment options, community outreach, mobile mammography services, clinical research collaborations, and value-based care initiatives.

We appreciate the opportunity to share how Self Regional Healthcare is advancing cancer care across the Lakelands and surrounding communities while discussing both the opportunities and challenges facing oncology today.

We officially broke ground on our newest Urgent Care location in Coronaca, marking an exciting step toward expanding access to convenient, high-quality healthcare for our community.

This new facility will expand Family Healthcare Coronaca and provide patients with timely care for illnesses and injuries that don't require an emergency department visit. With extended hours and compassionate care close to home, it will help serve families throughout Coronaca and the lake communities when they need it most.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone, and to our partners, Davis & Floyd and Creative Builders, for helping bring this vision to life. Construction is now underway, with an anticipated opening in early 2027.
