🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 Wesley Commons Health and Rehabilitation Center has achieved something truly remarkable! 🎉 We are thrilled to announce that we've been certified as a Center of Excellence for Wound Management by Vohra Wound Physicians!

This prestigious certification is only awarded to the top 10% of Vohra's skilled nursing facility partners annually, and it reflects our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care to our residents.

Here's what this achievement means for us:

✅ Less than 1% wound-related hospitalization rate.
✅ Regular team meetings focused on Quality and Process Improvement (QAPI).
✅ Dedicated Vohra wound care certified nurse(s) available 7 days a week – Marsha Ridlehuber, RN, and Amber Elliott, RN.

At Wesley Commons, our specialized wound management program allows us to admit individuals with chronic or complex wounds, providing them with comprehensive treatment right here in our facility. 💪💊

Partnering with Vohra Wound Physicians means our residents receive physician-led bedside wound care, personalized to their needs. With weekly visits from a Vohra wound physician, we minimize the need for external wound care centers or hospital referrals.

Our multidisciplinary team is equipped to address a wide range of wounds, ensuring each resident receives the highest standard of care. From pressure ulcers to post-surgical wounds, we collaborate closely with specialists to deliver exceptional service.

We are immensely proud of our team's dedication and commitment to excellence. Together, we will continue to uphold our standard of exceptional care for our residents. Thank you for your hard work and dedication! 🙌💖

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the tragic passing of our dear friend and colleague, Kenneth "Davis" McClendon, who served as a Marketing Counselor at Wesley Commons for more than 12 years. Davis was more than just an employee. He was a beloved member of our community, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.

Many of our residents remember Davis as the warm and welcoming face who helped them find a home at Wesley Commons. His dedication to serving our residents was unmatched, and his contributions to our community will never be forgotten.

Davis will always hold a special place in our hearts, and his legacy will live on at Wesley Commons. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Wesley Commons celebrated its annual employee service awards with a banquet ceremony on Tuesday, January 10. The event recognized the hard work and dedication of 24 employees, 3 retirees, and 2 deceased employees who have collectively given 285 years of service to the campus community.

Throughout the ceremony, the Wesley Commons’ leadership honored the employees for their contributions and commitment to the organization. Each employee was presented an award thanking them for their contributions and expressing appreciation for their hard work. Organizational leaders also acknowledged the retirees and fondly memorialized the deceased employees for their years of service and the impact they had on the organization.
The banquet was a wonderful opportunity for the employees and retirees to come together and celebrate their achievements. The event was attended by employees, their families, and honorary members of the community.
