• Agency partnerships for referral-based and contracted services

Our team of licensed and qualified professionals provides evidence-based counseling services to adolescents, adults, and families across a wide range of needs.

Synergy Counseling of Greenwood, LLC continues to expand into communities across the region, promoting mental health services and awareness. Today, we were honored to attend Youth Mental Health Day at the Abbeville County Library. A special thank you to LeSean Tutt of Dreams With Open Arms for organizing this impactful event. Gratitude to Elizabeth Hyman Crocker for keeping the community informed with reminders.

Events like these remind us of the importance of collaboration and community partnerships in supporting the mental well-being of our youth and families.

While Mental Health Awareness Month may be coming to an end, mental health awareness is important every day of the year. Together, we can continue breaking the stigma and connecting individuals with the support they need. 💚

A special thank you to Melissa Watts-Dendy and the Guardian Ad Litem Agency for inviting Synergy Counseling of Greenwood to share information about the services we provide for children and their caregivers. We also extend our appreciation to the Department of Social Services for being present and contributing to this important discussion.

It is through building strong partnerships and meaningful relationships that we can identify more effective ways to support children and their families. Starla Garner is excited to begin this new chapter as Practice Manager with Synergy Counseling of Greenwood. She recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Prior to this role, Starla spent five years as a Team Lead at ZF Transmissions, where she gained valuable leadership and team management experience. She then took the last two years away from the workforce to focus on raising her son and completing her degree. Now, she is excited and ready to step back into the workforce and continue growing professionally. Starla enjoys working with people, staying organized, and creating a positive, welcoming environment for everyone around her. Outside of work, she is a wife and mama who loves family, making memories, and bringing positive energy wherever she goes!

It’s all about building connections and networking with agencies throughout the community. Synergy Counseling of Greenwood was grateful for the invitation to participate in GLEAMNS Community Action Day. We were delighted to provide insightful information about mental health in hopes of helping break the stigma. Awareness is power, and meaningful conversations can make a difference. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Synergy Counseling was proud to attend Field Day at Diamond Hill Elementary School. We truly appreciate our partnership with Diamond Hill and the opportunity to connect with students, teachers, and parents in such a meaningful way.

The Synergy team provided valuable mental health information and created a fun therapeutic game where students answered mental health questions for a chance to win prizes. It was exciting to see students engaged while learning the importance of emotional wellness.

Synergy Counseling currently provides on-site counseling services at Diamond Hill Elementary two days a week. Our counselors work closely with school staff to support the overall well-being and success of students.

During the summer, Synergy will continue providing counseling services at the school on Tuesdays for current students and families, and we are also accepting new referrals.

A special thank you to Diamond Hill Elementary and Amy Hill, School Counselor, for allowing us the opportunity to serve and support your students, families, and community.
