For 8 years, Michael lived with the wrong diagnosis — searching for answers while his symptoms continued to progress. Then he found the Greenwood Genetic Center. 🧬

“When my genetic counselor said, ‘We’re 99% sure this is Pompe disease — and it’s treatable,’ it was the best news I’d gotten in a long time.” 💙

What followed was more than a diagnosis. It was hope, support, and a care team that truly listened.

“Greenwood Genetic Center has been the best medical experience I’ve had… you can tell they all really care about the mission.”

Hear Michael’s powerful story and how compassionate, expert care changed not only a diagnosis — but a life.

This is why we do what we do.

Because every patient deserves to be heard. Every family deserves answers. And every diagnosis has the power to change a life.
