Excited to share about the 3rd International Do Something: Identity(ies) 2026 on Friday, Nov. 13! Whether you're a community member, healthcare provider, therapist, educator, family member, partner, friend, advocate, or simply someone who wants to learn, this conference was built with and by trans, non binary, and many more community(ies). You'll find education, connection, community, practical resources, and opportunities to learn directly from people with trans, non binary, and many more non cis presenters.

⭐Highlights ⭐
💖 Every presenter is trans, non binary, and/or a non cis person.
💖 Everyone contributing to the conference is compensated for their labor, expertise, and lived experience.
💖 Multiple conference tracks mean there's something for everyone.
💖 All sessions will be recorded and all registered attendees receive access to the recordings.
💖 Sliding-scale registration helps ensure capitalism isn't a barrier to participation.

Here are a few of the many topics we are excited about:
✨ Supporting Trans Folks
✨ Nervous System Safety
✨ Techniques for Daily Stress
✨ Prep for Financial Emergencies
✨ Ethical Polyamory
✨ Autism & Kink
✨ Community care and connection

“Therapists tell patients to carry sour candy for panic attacks. Not because it’s a treatment — because intense sour taste forces the brain to redirect attentional resources away from the panic loop automatically, before the prefrontal cortex can even try to reason. The neuroscience is real. The 3-step protocol that works fastest is on slide 7. Save this and put something sour in your bag tonight. 🍬”

Today, we celebrate our non-binary and gender non-conforming community at the start of International Non-binary People’s Awareness Week!

What does it mean to be non-binary?

💛 Non-binary is an identity embraced by some people who do not identify exclusively as a man or a woman.

🤍 Non-binary people may identify as being both a man and a woman, somewhere in between or as falling completely outside of these categories.

💜 While many also identify as transgender, not all non-binary people do.

🖤 Non-binary can also be used as an umbrella term encompassing identities such as agender, bigender, genderqueer or gender fluid.

That kind of reconciliation only works one way. It needs both people telling the truth about what actually happened.

Your mind can't fully close a loop when the other person won't name their part in it. You end up carrying the whole weight of understanding alone, replaying what happened, trying to make sense of something they refuse to acknowledge.

Real reconciliation needs an honest account from both sides. Not a vague apology. Not a version of events that leaves out what actually hurt you. The real thing, spoken plainly.

Without that, what you're offered is quiet on the surface while the actual damage stays right where it was.

You're allowed to stop waiting for honesty that isn't coming. 🔍 Closure can come from you, even when it doesn't come from them.

Send this to someone who's still waiting for an apology that was never going to be honest.
