❤️❤️just a gentle reminder!
We Bloom in Our Own Time
We bloom
in our own time,
not all at once,
not bound by the seasons
others may feel we should follow
Some seasons ask us
to open,
to keep reaching
toward the light,
to trust the wisdom held within our petals.
Some seasons ask us
to let go.
To loosen our grip
on what has been,
to let the wind
carry our fallen petals.
And some seasons
are quiet.
Nothing seems to grow.
The branches are bare,
the earth is still,
and we wonder
if we have forgotten
how to bloom.
But beneath the stillness,
we continue to grow.
Roots deepen.
Seeds remember.
The heart gathers
what it needs.
We bloom
through beginnings
and endings,
through joy and grief,
through the sunlight
and the long, harsh winters.
No season is ever wasted.
So let life move through you.
Bloom when you can.
Rest when you must.
Let the winds carry away what remains of yesterday.
And when your season comes again,
you will not be the flower
you once were.
You will be
transformed,
wiser,
and more deeply rooted.
Still growing.
Still unfolding
Still blooming.
