💙 Walton Empowers is proud to support Heart of Newton’s Recovery Symposium happening TOMORROW!

If you’re in Newton County, we encourage you to attend this free community event focused on hope, healing, connection, and recovery. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about Heart of Newton, Newton County’s new Recovery Community Organization, whose mission is to ensure that hope exists and recovery thrives for individuals, families, and communities affected by substance use and mental health challenges.

We were excited to welcome Hannah Bree Scott from NALO Spalding for a two-day visit and shadowing experience with our team! 💙

During her time with us, Hannah had the opportunity to learn more about the work we do, connect with staff, and see firsthand how peer support and recovery community services are carried out across our programs and communities.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to collaborate, share ideas, and strengthen recovery support efforts together across Georgia. 🤝
