SouthernCare Hospice was honored to attend the South Alabama Veterans Council meeting on Tuesday. There were several different vendors there, each of them sharing different information about the services and resources available to assist our veterans.
SouthernCare Hospice is proud to be a member of the 'We Honor Veterans'. We provide compassionate care to those who are terminally ill while making every effort to honor, recognize, and show the respect and gratitude they deserve for their service to our country.
The meeting was very informative, and it provided all kinds of information about all the resources out there for our veterans and their families.

Interesting Fact: The Purple Heart was created on August 7, 1782, initially called the Badge of Military Merit. It's America's oldest military award.

Cruisin’ with Compassion Motorcycle Show was a success!
