Today, we celebrated ourselves and encouraged each shift to enjoy a potluck together—one of our favorite traditions here at Grandwood! ❤️

I am thankful every single day for the CNAs and CMAs who walk through these doors and pour their hearts into caring for our elderly residents. Your compassion, patience, and dedication never go unnoticed.

Please remember that even on the hard days—the days when it feels like nothing goes right, the days we lose the residents we’ve grown to love, and the days that test us in every way—there are also moments that change your life forever. Moments that remind you why you chose this path. Moments that create an unbreakable bond between caregivers.

Being a CNA isn’t just a job. It’s a calling. It takes a special kind of person to do this work with grace and love, and Grandwood is blessed to have some of the very best.

A special thank you to Vital Caring Hospice and the Grover/Baxter family for providing us with a delicious cake and helping us celebrate our amazing team.

Happy CNA Week to the caregivers who make a difference every single day. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for all that you do. 💙
