Does everyone else have their BRIGHTS on, or is it just me?! 🚗👀
If driving at night has started feeling harder, you're definitely not the only one.
And no, it doesn't automatically mean you need stronger glasses.
As we age, changes in our eyes can make us more sensitive to glare and slower to adjust between bright headlights and dark roads.
Dry eye, an outdated prescription, and early cataracts can also make nighttime driving more difficult.
Here's what we DON'T want you to do:
Just assume it's normal and put up with it.
If headlights suddenly seem unbearable, road signs aren't as clear, or you're avoiding driving after dark, mention it at your next eye appointment. If it's a new or significant change, call us sooner.
Sometimes there's something we can do to help.
Now we're curious. Do you actually enjoy driving at night, or do you avoid it whenever possible?
