Where did this week go?! We completely missed our midweek update, so here’s your weekend rundown!

🍕 Pizza News!
This is the FINAL weekend for our Street Taco Pizza! 🌮🍕

We only have enough carnitas left for about 6–7 pizzas (or maybe 😎. If this has become your favorite, call ahead and we’ll do our best to save one for you!

And don’t worry… June is bringing a brand-new pizza flavor! Luke has been in full creation mode and has a new recipe up his sleeve. Stay tuned!

🍎 Cider Update!
Tripleberry and Raspberry are both on their final kegs! Once they’re gone, they’re gone, and that means NEW flavors are waiting in the wings!

Weekend Events
• Friday Night: Private group in the back room.
• Saturday Afternoon: Graduation party in the back room until 4 PM.
• Sunday: Luke and Crystal are taking the day off!

Don’t panic—we have a babysitter AND Kellie holding down the fort, so service won’t be affected one bit. We’re just ridiculously excited to have a day off together. 😆

Hours:
• Thursday: 5–10 PM
• Friday: 5–10 PM (Pizza 5:30–9 PM 🍕)
• Saturday: 12–10 PM (Pizza 5–9 PM 🍕)

Here’s what’s happening this week at South Porch Cider:

📚 TONIGHT:
Week 3 of our trivia series kicks off! You can still jump in—fly solo or gather a team of up to four. You’ll have all weekend to stop in to do your quiz, test your knowledge, and support our Grundy Center students.

We’ll also be hosting a meeting in the backroom at 6:00pm. So please respect their space and sit up front or at the bar. Crystal doesn't bite. (the same cant be said about our toddler. 🙄)

🎶 FRIDAY:
A low-key night at the cidery… just good drinks, good vibes, and room to unwind.

🗳️ SATURDAY:
At noon, we’ll welcome Lindsay James, current Iowa House Representative and candidate for U.S. Congressional District 2, for a visit here in Grundy Center.
Then Saturday night… you know the drill: Pizza Night! 🍕🔥

🦃 SUNDAY:
It’s canning day for our Thanksgiving feasts! Stop in and stock up on all the canned goods you’ll want for your holiday meals.

You know what day it is… PIZZA DAY! And today we’re giving a massive shoutout to our seasonal stunner: the Homestead Harvest Pizza.

Sure, we’ve got your classics — Pepperoni, Sausage, Cheese, Supreme — but let’s be honest… the monthly specialty pizzas are where Luke’s brilliant (and slightly chaotic 🤣) foodie imagination truly shines.

So what makes the Homestead Harvest so magical?
Let’s break down this cozy, holiday-inspired masterpiece:

🔥 Start with your choice of thin or regular crust (trust us… go regular).
🌿 We season the crust edges with our herb-salt blend and spread a layer of sweet potato sauce.
🧀 Add our mozzarella blend, then pile on roasted turkey breast, sweet red onions, stuffing, plus a sprinkle of sage & thyme.
🍕 Bake to golden perfection…
✨ THEN finish it with cranberry sauce and crispy French onions on top.
🦃 And the best part? A side of turkey gravy for drizzling, dunking, or straight-up savoring.

It’s cozy. It’s festive. It’s downright delicious.
