Since 1976, River to Coast Children’s Services (RCCS) has been a trusted resource for families and child care providers across Western Sonoma County.

Serving Western Sonoma County since 1976, River to Coast Children’s Services (RCCS) supports children, families, and child care providers through child care subsidies, resource & referral services, and community programs. We offer a range of services including child care referrals, financial assistance through state-subsidized programs (CFCC, CAPP, and CalWORKs C2AP & C3AP), and educational resour

ces that empower families and early educators alike. Our programs help eligible families offset child care costs—supporting parents who are working, attending school, searching for employment or housing, participating in welfare-to-work activities, managing health issues, or receiving support from Child Protective Services or other income-based programs. At RCCS, we recognize child care providers as essential early childhood educators. We actively promote participation in ongoing professional development—offering training opportunities both through RCCS and in collaboration with other leading child development organizations. Our team is proud to reflect the rich diversity of our community, and we are committed to providing respectful, accessible support to all families and providers.

Since 1976, RCCS has been a cornerstone for families raising children and seeking support. This milestone calls for an evening worthy of its significance.

Join us beneath the redwoods at El Sabor Mexicano Farmhouse — a bohemian-fantasy venue on the historic property where Colonel Armstrong built his home in 1874. Enjoy live music from Summer Breeze, hand-selected wine, and a farm-to-table dinner by Chef Jorge Saldana (30 years of culinary experience, acclaimed restaurants in Berkeley and San Francisco's Financial District), crafted from clean-sourced, non-GMO produce grown right in the garden we'll be celebrating.

🎉 Join your fellow West County champions in honoring 5 decades of supporting local families at the River to Coast Children's Services 50th Anniversary Gala!

🏡 Since 1976, RCCS has been a cornerstone for families raising children and seeking support. Over the last half century, generations have walked through our doors and left with positive changes for their lives ❤️.

A community impact this lasting deserves an evening worthy of the milestone's significance.

🌲 That's why RCCS is hosting our 50th Anniversary Gala beneath the redwoods at El Sabor Mexicano Farmhouse, a venue straight out of a bohemian fantasy and the very property where Colonel Armstrong built his home in 1874.

The evening will feature live music by instrumentalists from Summer Breeze, performing easy listening favorites alongside hand-selected wine and a special farm-to-table dinner.

The meal is handcrafted by distinguished Chef Jorge Saldana 👨‍🍳 , whose 30 years of culinary experience and ownership of acclaimed restaurants in downtown Berkeley and San Francisco's Financial District have earned recognition across the Bay Area.

🌿 Every ingredient is clean-sourced, non-GMO produce grown and harvested from the very garden we'll be celebrating that evening, creating an unforgettable dining experience known for its authentic flavor and exceptional quality.

This month, we are excited to introduce Lupita Dominguez, our Child Development Resource Specialist.

Lupita has been a valued member of the RCCS team since July 2012. In her role, she partners with child care providers, supports children's developmental growth, and connects families with valuable resources to help children thrive. Her years of experience and dedication have made a lasting impact on the families and providers she serves.

Fun facts: Lupita loves going on breakfast dates with family and friends and exploring new coffee shops. She has been with RCCS for 14 years and has dedicated 16 years to the Early Care and Education field. She is also a proud mom of three, and her oldest will be starting her final year at UCLA this fall. ☕🥞💙
We are grateful for Lupita's years of service, dedication, and the positive impact she continues to make in our community.

Lupita forma parte del equipo de RCCS desde julio del 2012. En su función, colabora con proveedores de cuidado de niños, apoya el desarrollo de los niños y conecta a las familias con recursos valiosos para ayudar a que los niños prosperen. Dato curioso: A Lupita le encanta salir a desayunar con su familia y sus amistades, además de conocer nuevos cafés. Ha formado parte de RCCS durante 14 años y ha dedicado 16 años al campo del Cuidado y Educación Temprana. También es una orgullosa mamá de tres hijos, y su hija mayor comenzará este otoño su último año en UCLA. ☕🥞💙

🎉 A wonderful time was had at the RCCS 50th Anniversary Family BBQ Celebration! 🎈

It was heartwarming to see the entire RCCS family come together for a beautiful day at the park to commemorate 5 decades of working together in ensuring all our children have the support they need. 🌳

A huge thank you to our incredible board members, staff, families, M.R.F.D., volunteers, partners, and community members who made this milestone event possible. ❤️

As the coordinator of our Basic Human Needs Program, you'll work directly with families in Western Sonoma County to help remove barriers, provide financial assistance, connect families to vital community resources, coordinate our food pantry, and promote long-term family stability.
