Not all bleeding is “just part of your cycle.”
If your periods are suddenly much heavier, lasting longer than usual, showing up between cycles, or happening after menopause, it’s time to check in with your OB/GYN. Abnormal bleeding can have many causes, from hormonal changes and fibroids to polyps or other underlying concerns.
You know your body best. If something feels off, you do not have to wait it out or push through it on your own. A conversation with your provider can help you get answers, rule out serious issues, and find the right treatment for your needs.
If you are experiencing abnormal bleeding, schedule an appointment with Generations OB/GYN. We are here to listen, evaluate, and help you feel confident in your care.
