Disability Pride Month is observed each July to celebrate the strength, diversity, and achievements of people with disabilities. It also recognizes the history of the disability rights movement, including the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in July 1990. This month is a time to challenge stigma, promote inclusion and accessibility, and affirm that disability is a natural part of the human experience.
