Tuesday’s Tip: Does K-Tape Really Help Knee Pain?

If you’ve ever had pain around or behind your kneecap when squatting, climbing stairs, running, or getting up from a chair, you may be dealing with Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS)—often called “runner’s knee.”

Recent research published in the Journal of Osteopathic Medicine found that kinesiology tape (K-Tape) provided a significant benefit for reducing pain associated with PFPS.

At Integrative Chiropractic Solutions, we frequently use K-Tape as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
