Pain can be difficult to describe, especially when it changes day to day. Before your next appointment, consider when it occurs, what makes it better or worse, and how it affects sleep or everyday activities. These details can help your provider better understand your pain.

Clicking. Swelling after activity. That feeling like your knee might give out.

If you've been telling yourself it'll go away on its own, and it hasn't, that's information worth listening to. Knee issues rarely improve without understanding what's causing them.

You don't have to live around the pain.

Fall training is picking up, and so is the risk of ACL injuries.

Sudden stops, awkward landings, quick direction changes. These movements are part of the game, but they're also the most common way an ACL tear happens in young athletes.

If your athlete is dealing with knee swelling, instability, or a "pop" they felt during activity, don't wait it out.

Thank you Pace Center For Girls for the warm welcome and for everything you do for these girls every single day.

πŸŽ‰ SURPRISE! πŸŽ‰
Monday got a whole lot more exciting when our friends from Andrews Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center stopped by Pace with an AMAZING surprise for our girls! πŸ’œ
They arrived with an incredible haul of games, crafts, stuffed animals, period supplies, and so much more!
And judging by those big smiles in this photo, we think it’s safe to say the surprise was a BIG hit! Our girls were thrilled to see all the goodies and even more excited to shop in the closet this Friday!! 😍
Thank you, Andrews Institute, for showing up for our girls in such a BIG way! We are so grateful for community partners who make our girls feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
You definitely know how to make a Monday AMAZING! 🌟

August is Spinal Muscular Atrophy Awareness Month.

SMA is a genetic condition that affects the muscles used for movement, including walking, sitting, and breathing. It can show up in infancy or later in life, and early recognition makes a real difference.

If you notice muscle weakness, difficulty with movement, or changes in coordination, don't brush it off. Getting answers early matters.

You felt fine during the game. Maybe even the next morning. But two days later, something still doesn't feel right. πŸ€”

Recreational sports, yard projects, that pickup basketball game you maybe weren't quite ready for. These things add up. And soreness that sticks around longer than a few days is worth paying attention to.

Don't wait until it gets worse: https://andrewsinstitutesc.com/
