Coffee & Chat with Dave Is always a favorite time for our elders. Each Wednesday, MSS board member & Seashore volunteer Dave Vincent leads thoughtful discussion where our elders sip, socialize, and share thoughts on today’s headlines and yesterday’s history. Last week, we had our largest attendance, with 22 elders & their family members participating! Thank you Dave for bringing such thought provoking programming to our campus. 💚

We ❤️ to see our elders recognized in the local community! This morning, Rufus Smith, was honored with the Philanthropy Catalyst Award from the Gulf Coast Community Foundation. The award was presented to Rufus for leading with integrity, consistency and care in service to the Gulf Coast region. Rufus has been a longtime board member of the Community Foundation, has served on our local Seashore board and has been a vocal advocate for the work being done through Methodist Senior Services.

Congratulations Rufus! Your heart for your community is tremendous and this award is well-deserved!
