Wildlife/ College Colors Day was a wild good time! Our residents enjoyed celebrating Wildlife Day with plenty of smiles, conversation, and good company! We wrapped things up with Cheers & Chat with Chef Kendrick, enjoying an Old Fashioned, chicken salad, watermelon and yogurt parfaits, while sharing stories, laughs, and great conversation. There’s nothing better than good food, good drinks, and even better company!

A fun filled Thursday at CCL. Muscle Movement, Book Club, Deal or No Deal, Carmel Apple Nachos. Residents enjoyed their time of fellowship and good conversation.

Today, we'd like to highlight Rosa, our Employee of the Month.

Hi everyone! 👋😊 My name is Rosa Matherson, and I’m 48 years young! 🎉

I’m a proud mom of three grown children and a very blessed grandmother. ❤️ I have one granddaughter through my middle son, along with five grandchildren through my husband’s sons. Family means the world to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the love and memories we share. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💕

When I’m not spending time with family, you can usually find me enjoying the great outdoors! 🌲🎣 I love fishing, camping, disc golf, and mini golf—anything that gets me outside, having fun, and making memories. 🏕️⛳️

I’ve always had a love for sports, too! 🏐🏀🥎 During my school years, I played softball, volleyball, and basketball, so I guess you could say a little friendly competition has always been part of who I am! 😄💪

One of the things I love most is taking care of people and being there for others. ❤️ Helping others, showing kindness, and making people feel cared for brings me so much joy.

And, of course, I can’t forget to mention my amazing husband! 💕 We’ve been together for 12 wonderful years and married for 6. 💍🥰 I feel truly blessed to have him by my side and to share this journey of life together.

I’m grateful for my family, my husband, the experiences that have shaped me, and all the adventures still ahead! 🌸✨

Our residents were looking pretty in PINK today as we celebrated the one and only Dolly Parton!
There was plenty of pink, lots of singing and laughter watching Steel Magnolias!

Hi, I’m Jerae Standley! 👋💜

I’ve been a nurse for over 17 years, with experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and independent living. Throughout my career, one thing has always remained the same: serving the senior population is truly my passion. 🩺💙

I currently serve as a Regional Wellness Director for Pines Senior Living and oversee Pines Boutique Services, where I have the opportunity to help ensure seniors receive the personalized support, care, and attention they deserve—all while maintaining their independence. 🌿✨

When I’m not working, you can usually find me cheering from the sidelines and watching my daughter play volleyball at Nelson University! 💜🏐📣

I’m incredibly grateful to have built a career around caring for others and love being able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families. 🫶🏼💖
