🧠 3 Things Most People Don't Know About Dementia Risk
1️⃣ Dementia doesn't start when memory problems begin.
Changes in the brain can occur 10-20 years before symptoms appear.
2️⃣ Your genes are not your destiny.
Even if dementia runs in your family, many lifestyle factors can influence your risk.
3️⃣ Brain health is about more than memory.
Sleep, blood sugar, stress, inflammation, hormones, hearing loss, social connection, and physical activity all play a role.
As many of you know, Alzheimer's disease has affected my family personally. My dad was diagnosed at age 62, and that experience changed the course of my life and career.
Today, as a nurse practitioner and brain health coach, my mission is to help people understand that there are steps we can take NOW to support our brain health and potentially reduce our risk.
That's exactly what I'll be sharing in my FREE workshop this week:
🧠 Dementia Is Not Destiny: What You Can Do Today to Protect Your Brain Tomorrow
If you're concerned about your memory, have a family history of dementia, or simply want to age with a healthier brain, I'd love for you to join us.
