You’ve spent years being the one who holds it all together. You check in, step up, and smooth things over. On the outside, it looks like kindness. On the inside, it’s exhausting.

Hi, I’m Katie. I’m a therapist based in Texas, supporting teens, young adults, adults, and couples who are navigating:

• anxiety and depression
• relationship and identity struggles
• grief, trauma, and life transitions
• attachment wounds and inner child work
• the weight of always trying to hold it all together

My role is to help you better understand your patterns, your pain, and your potential. Together, we will explore how your past may be showing up in your present.

Your role? To show up as you are. Messy, unsure, overwhelmed… and still WORTHY of support.

I’ll hold space for your emotions with care and compassion. At the same time, I’ll gently challenge the patterns and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck.

In session, I offer practical tools and a fresh, relational lens grounded in attachment theory, inner child work, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care.

If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, this is a great time.

🌿I’m currently offering $20 off your first four sessions for new clients this summer.

📞Call or text (430) 207-1067 to schedule your free 15-minute consultation.

📍In-person sessions available in Gun Barrel City. Virtual sessions available anywhere in Texas.

It’s hard to find the right words when so many are hurting, but I want to acknowledge the pain and heartache being felt across Texas.

Whether you’ve been directly affected or you’re simply feeling heavy and unsure what to do with the weight of it all, your feelings are valid.

There’s no one right way to move through events like this. It’s okay if it feels messy, emotional, or overwhelming. It’s okay to pause, to feel heavy, and to not know what to say.

Thinking of everyone affected by this tragedy. May we care for one another with gentleness and presence in the days ahead.

Using AI to process emotions is becoming more common, and honestly, it makes sense. It’s free. It’s available anytime. And it doesn’t feel intimidating to open up to a screen.

But as helpful as AI tools can be in the moment, they can’t offer what REAL therapy does.

AI doesn’t know your story.
AI can’t sit with you in silence.
And AI can’t guide you through the kind of insight and healing that only comes through REAL connection.

If you’ve been curious about what working with a therapist could look like, this is your sign to explore it.

There’s a trend gaining traction online called “looksmaxxing,” where teens (especially boys) feel pressure to constantly “optimize” their appearance through workouts, supplements, and comparison-heavy content.

What starts as self-improvement can quickly turn into anxiety, body shame, or feeling like you’ll never measure up. And for many teens, it’s happening quietly, beneath the surface.

If this sounds familiar (for you or your teen), this is your sign to reach out.

I work with both teen boys and girls navigating body image, anxiety, and the pressure to be “enough” in a world that’s always watching.

🌞 Summer tends to be a little slower, which makes it a great time to start therapy.

I’m offering $20 off your first 4 sessions for new teen clients who begin this summer.
