I continue to be overwhelmed by the kindness and support of this amazing community as we celebrate 25 years of ownership at Guntersville Eye Clinic. 💙
A very special thank you to Dr. Gussie Bell Branch Branch and the wonderful team at Eyes on Guntersville for the beautiful plant they surprised me with today. Your thoughtfulness and encouragement mean so much, and I truly appreciate the kindness you've shown. We are blessed to have colleagues in our community who support one another.
And to my sweet parents—thank you for the gorgeous flowers. Your love, constant encouragement, and belief in me have been a foundation throughout this entire journey. I couldn't have asked for better parents.
As I reflect on these 25 years, I'm reminded that no one reaches milestones like this alone. I have been blessed with an incredible family, wonderful friends, supportive colleagues, dedicated staff, loyal patients, and a community that has allowed me the privilege of caring for generations of families.
From the bottom of my heart... thank you. Here's to celebrating the past, embracing the present, and looking forward to what God has in store for the future. ❤️

25 Years... ❤️
Twenty-five years ago this month, I was given the incredible opportunity to purchase the practice that had cared for my own eyes as I was growing up in Guntersville.
When I joined the practice in 2000, I never imagined that just one year later I would become its owner. Looking back at that young doctor in the first photo and then seeing where God has led me today is both humbling and overwhelming.
As a little girl growing up in Guntersville, I could have never imagined that one day I would have the privilege of caring for the vision of my teachers, classmates, lifelong friends, and now even their children and grandchildren.
These past 25 years have been filled with countless blessings, friendships, challenges, and unforgettable moments. Through it all, one thing has remained constant—my love for this community and my passion for caring for my patients.
Over the next few days, I'd love to take you on a journey through the history of this practice—from its beginnings with Dr. A.G. Long, Sr. and the doctors who built its legacy, to the privilege I've had of carrying that legacy forward as Guntersville Eye Clinic.
To every patient who has trusted me, every family who has returned year after year, and everyone who has supported me along the way... thank you. You have made these 25 years more meaningful than I could have ever imagined.
Here's to celebrating the past, being grateful for the present, and looking forward to many more years of serving the community I proudly call home.
