✨ Eyes On Our Team ✨

Join us in congratulating Dr. Branch on 9 outstanding years! Dr. Branch is an optometrist and co-owner of Eyes on Albertville, Eyes on Guntersville, and Little Eyes on Albertville.

For the past nine years, Dr. Branch has poured her heart into the practice, our patients, the profession of optometry, and the people around her. She currently serves on the boards of the Alabama Optometric Association, the UABSO Alumni Association, and the Albertville Chamber of Commerce.

What we admire most about Dr. Branch, though, is the way she uses her gifts to serve others. Each year, she travels to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota to provide free eye exams to residents of all ages. She also continually shows up for her employees, encouraging and supporting the people who make our practices what they are.

We asked Dr. Branch a few questions about her past year at our Eyes On locations:

👁️ If your job had a theme song, what would it be? Probably “Whatever It Takes” by Imagine Dragons because every day is different and I have to be ready for anything.
👁️What’s something new you’ve learned in your role this year? I’ve learned just how much community support matters. This year has reminded me that when you invest in your community and build genuine relationships, people really do show up for you in return.
👁️What’s one word your coworkers would use to describe you? This one is too hard! Maybe “intentional” or “passionate.”
👁️What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you? I love listening to podcasts and have such a variety that I listen to regularly. Some are news, pop culture, investigative journalism, comedy, or religious- I cover a lot of topics!
👁️What’s something you’re excited about in the year ahead? Professionally, I am so excited to see how Little Eyes will grow and the impact that it will have for our community. I love watching our team grow as we add new members and develop our current team. Personally, I have a few trail runs I am signed up for, and I can’t wait to push myself to new distances. My children are 2 and 6 years old and they are growing and changing so fast right now. It’s always exciting to see what new things they are interested in and watching them learn new things.

I continue to be overwhelmed by the kindness and support of this amazing community as we celebrate 25 years of ownership at Guntersville Eye Clinic. 💙
A very special thank you to Dr. Gussie Bell Branch Branch and the wonderful team at Eyes on Guntersville for the beautiful plant they surprised me with today. Your thoughtfulness and encouragement mean so much, and I truly appreciate the kindness you've shown. We are blessed to have colleagues in our community who support one another.
And to my sweet parents—thank you for the gorgeous flowers. Your love, constant encouragement, and belief in me have been a foundation throughout this entire journey. I couldn't have asked for better parents.
As I reflect on these 25 years, I'm reminded that no one reaches milestones like this alone. I have been blessed with an incredible family, wonderful friends, supportive colleagues, dedicated staff, loyal patients, and a community that has allowed me the privilege of caring for generations of families.
From the bottom of my heart... thank you. Here's to celebrating the past, embracing the present, and looking forward to what God has in store for the future. ❤️

✨Eyes On Our Team ✨

We want to congratulate Laura on 2 outstanding years at Eyes on Guntersville! Laura is our optometric technician, helping to ensure every patient encounter is thorough, accurate, and pleasant. Laura’s day typically consists of obtaining pre-testing information, special testing for ocular disease, and assisting with contact lens fittings and trainings.

We asked Laura a few questions about her past year at EOG:
👁️If your job had a theme song, what would it be? I Can See Clearly Now 🎶

👁️What’s something new you’ve learned in your role this year? I’ve learned a lot and continue to learn. I think learning about the demodex mites was fascinating.

👁️What’s one word your coworkers would use to describe you? Funny

👁️What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you? I enjoy doing my own nails. I love mix matching colors and coming up with designs to add a little pop of color to my day!

👁️What’s something you’re excited about in the year ahead? Meeting more amazing patients and continuing to grow in my role.
