The olive tree offers a quiet metaphor for therapy and healing: it grows slowly, endures harsh seasons, and can continue producing new life even after hardship. Its roots reach deep for nourishment, reminding us that healing is not always about moving on quickly—it is about reconnecting with what steadies and sustains us. In healing , we make room for both the weathered branches and the new growth, trusting that resilience can take root gently, over time.

Lake County Care Collective is so excited to announce our new partnership with Melissa Lea Groza.

Melissa Lea Groza is a Licensed Clinical Massage Therapist with a master’s degree in psychology. She is also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, trauma-informed coach, mind-body coach, breathwork practitioner, and certified professional life coach.

Her specialties include:
Mindful hypnosis and trauma-informed coaching
Breathwork, meditation, and mind-body wellness
Stress management and emotional regulation
Limiting beliefs, self-awareness, and personal growth
Communication and relationship support
Applied behavioral and emotional neuroscience
Manual lymphatic drainage and post-operative recovery support
Her approach integrates psychology, hypnosis, breathwork, coaching, mindfulness, and occasional bodywork to support emotional well-being, nervous-system balance, and lasting personal change.

While bringing up su***de can feel uncomfortable or difficult, having open conversations, noticing signs of hopelessness, and sharing resources can truly make a life-saving difference in our communities.

According to recent data, su***de remains a leading cause of death in the United States, but we are seeing meaningful steps forward. Localized support is expanding, as evidenced by the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline state contact centers receiving over 4.3 million calls in 2025—a 12% increase from the prior year, with 89% answered directly in-state.

By stepping past our unease and listening with compassion, we let those who are struggling know that their experience matters and that they are not alone.
