Hi friends!
If you’ve been following W&R for a little while, you’re likely to have noticed that I moved myself, my beloved cat Porter, and W&R back to Juneau! For those of you who don’t know me outside of social media, this move was the result of my choice to get divorced. I share this personal information not out of a desire for condolences but rather out of my belief in being transparent and authentic in all facets of life.
So with that, it’s time for me to share how my relationship with this business is evolving.
Speaking candidly, for several months now, W&R has not brought me joy. Instead I’ve felt uninspired by my craft and burdened by its expansion. Ooof…
I have found myself wondering why I continue to have and grow a business that I’m no longer enjoying. And truthfully my trepidation in honoring this pull for something new was rooted in my fear of disappointing all of you.
🌱 Well folks, this is me stepping through fear and taking responsibility for creating with and for joy.
•••What is W&R going to look like moving forward?•••
Don’t freak out yet! The Rosehip Facial Serum isn’t going anywhere (I can’t ditch my personal favorite!). Also sticking around will be the facial washes, every day salve, and lip balms. I’m currently in the process of inventorying the products that will be discontinued after they sell out so get them while you can!
I have tagged local Alaskan businesses that make similar products to W&R 1.0 and I ask that you consider checking them out and supporting these wonderful local makers.
I am continuing my work with wild Alaskan flora but in a completely different medium that I will share in time. So please stick around! ❤️
