LifeServe Blood Center—the primary blood supplier to our local and regional hospitals—is experiencing an urgent shortage, making every donation more important than ever. Blood cannot be manufactured and it must be continuously replenished to ensure patients receive lifesaving care when they need it. While every donation helps, the long-term strength of our blood supply depends on building a community of lifelong blood donors who give regularly. Construction continues to make great progress at Guthrie County Hospital & Clinics!

Recent milestones include:
• Structural steel has arrived and is being installed for the new Clinic and Main Entrance addition.
• Foundation and underpinning work continues for the new MRI addition.
• Interior framing, plumbing, electrical, ductwork, and sprinkler installation are progressing throughout the renovation.
• Roadwork preparation is underway for the repair of 12th Street.
• Respiratory Therapy has relocated to the Cardiac Rehab Conference Room.

Please remember that the Todd-Neff Conference Room remains closed through August.

If you have an appointment at our Stuart Clinic in the coming weeks, please plan ahead and allow extra time for travel due to road construction on County Highway P28 / Wagon Road.

Guthrie County will begin a full highway rehabilitation project along County Highway P28 / Wagon Road between Stuart and the Monteith Road starting the week of June 22nd - weather permitting.

Construction will require the closure of P28 to through traffic from Stuart north to Monteith Road for the duration of the project. The closure is expected to remain in place through mid to late summer, depending on weather and construction progress.
