🚌🎒 Safety Sunday: Back-to-School Safety

A new school year is just around the corner! Whether your child walks, bikes, rides the bus, or gets dropped off, a few simple reminders can help everyone arrive safely.

✔️ Stop, look, and listen before crossing the street.
✔️ Use crosswalks and obey crossing guards.
✔️ Stay alert—put phones and headphones away while walking or biking.
✔️ Wear bright or reflective clothing when possible.
✔️ Take a few minutes to review your family's safest route to and from school.

🎉 Happy 40th Work Anniversary, Deb! 🎉

Today we celebrate Deb Preston, RN, Manager of our Surgery Department, and an incredible 40 years at GMHC!

Deb began her career at GMHC in 1986 on our Patient Care Unit and has spent four decades caring for our patients, supporting her coworkers, and serving our community.

Thank you, Deb, for your dedication, leadership, and the many ways you have made a difference over the past 40 years. We are so fortunate to have you as part of ! ❤️

🎉 Happy 15th Anniversary, Danielle Bockenstedt, RN, BSN, CNOR! 🎉

Danielle began her career at GMHC in our Patient Care Unit and Emergency Department before joining our Surgery team just a few months later. Today, she serves as our Surgical Services Coordinator and is also an Epic trainer and PICC/Midline certified.

Throughout her 15 years at GMHC, Danielle has continued to grow, lead, and share her knowledge with others while providing exceptional care to our patients.
