I’m an acupuncturist and herbalist specializing in fertility, and I want to know the whole story. Your cycle. Your sleep. Your digestion. Your stress. The symptoms you’ve been told are “just part of it.”

I’m telling you ladies, I’ve seen too many patients on their 2nd or 3rd fibroids surgeries and they are surprised to have to do it again.

So I am letting you know.. surgery does not treat the root cause of fibroids—or anything else growing in the pelvic cavity (polyps and cysts count as well).

What’s the root cause ??

In my experience, it begins with a disordered digestive system—in most women.

I fully evaluate ALL my patients, so I will find YOUR root cause.

These 2 pharmaceuticals may support ovulation, but they kill the uterine lining.

They make the lining thin and dry. Embryos prefer a warm juicy place to land.

So I created this list for my patients to use when she buys food for the 2week wait hmart.

You deserve a clinic that will fight for ever single follicle. Because contractor popular belief, one can be right sometimes—at least, it has been for many of my patients. Find an IVF clinic that will work hard for those 1-2 follicles. Those clinics exist. Comment IVF and I’ll send my my favorite clinics in the area.

Controlling a symptom and treating why it’s happening are not the same thing.

Birth control controls the symptom.

But it doesn’t do anything to address WHY it’s there.

And women deserve to know the difference.

If you’re bleeding through tampons, pads, clothes and sheets… passing huge clots… canceling plans… or literally checking your calendar before you agree to go anywhere because you of your chaotic period..

“Here’s the pill” cannot be the end of the conversation.

Especially when you’ve already said you don’t want it.

In Chinese medicine, heavy bleeding isn’t random. There is a pattern behind why it’s happening—and figuring out that pattern is the entire point of treatment. These are the 3 patterns that lead to heavy bleeding:

Blood stasis. Qi deficiency. Heat.

Three completely different reasons your body can bleed excessively.

And they get 3 completely different treatment strategies.

The blood stasis pattern often comes after some sort of trauma to the reproductive organs, past surgery/miscarriage/termination, etc.

The qi deficiency pattern often is accompanied with a lot of fatigue and digestive issues.

The heat pattern often comes with feeling hot a lot, but not always— sometimes it comes with feeling cold. There aid often an inflammatory process at play as well.

Don’t ignore it! It can be the difference between getting pregnant and not getting pregnant. It’s even more important if the Lower Back Pain happens during you period 🩸

How do you beat the odds like this?

This patient has multiple co-morbidities + is over 40.

She had:
1 egg retrieved
1 egg fertilized
1 PGT normal embryo
1 FET

She is now pregnant.

She has been so consistent with fertility acupuncture for several months through all the different stages of IVF.

She also took herbal medicine at different stages of her care with us, when it was appropriate.

We are so happy for her 🤗🤗
