YWCA Northern New Jersey proudly gathered for our Annual Meeting and Year in Review, reflecting on a year of meaningful progress, powerful partnerships, and lives transformed across our communities.
From advancing racial healing and supporting survivors of sexual violence, to empowering women through workforce development, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, services for veterans and women reentering the community, girls leadership programs, senior wellness initiatives, and impactful programs for school-age youth, together we continued our mission to eliminate racism and empower women, girls and families.
We are grateful to our staff, volunteers, board members, community partners, donors, and supporters who make this work possible. Your dedication helps create opportunities, inspire change, and build a more equitable future for all.
We are especially excited to welcome our Board Executive Committee members who will begin their leadership roles on July 1:
• President, Janet Hill Smith• 1st Vice President, Marlie Massena• 2nd Vice President, Shawanna Bailey• Secretary, Jennifer Mannino
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our outgoing Executive Committee members—Dr. Christine Thorpe, Michelle Naggier, Janet Hill Smith, Stacey Brown Neval, and Heather Corey—for their years of commitment, leadership, and service to YWCA Northern New Jersey.
A special thank you to our community partners, Parent Matterz and School Scents, for their continued support of our vision and mission. Your partnership helps strengthen our programs and expand our impact throughout Northern New Jersey.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to creating pathways for women and families to thrive while advancing justice, equity, and opportunity across our region.
💙 Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to another year of impact, advocacy, and empowerment!
