A huge thank you to the Haddam Volunteer Fire Department for coming out to visit our campers during our last week of camp! The kids loved checking out the fire truck, learning about the equipment, and getting to know more about what our firefighters do to keep our community safe. โค๏ธ

We wrapped up our summer with so many special visitors and fun experiences!

๐Ÿพ Our first visitor was a local police officer and his therapy dog, Viera! The campers loved getting to meet Viera, learn about her important job, and spend some time with our new four-legged friend. ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿถ

She truly surpassed every expectation I had for our Lead Counselor this summer. From keeping our schedule organized, taking the lead each day, planning crafts and activities, and arranging fun visits for our campers, she did it all!

But more than anything, she showed up every day with so much love, patience, and excitement for every single one of our kids. ๐Ÿฅฐ She helped make camp fun, organized, and so special for our campers and staff.

I couldnโ€™t have asked for a better person to take on this role, and I am SO thankful for everything she brought to camp this summer! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’›

Another amazing week at camp! ๐Ÿ’™

This weekโ€™s theme was Community Helpers, and we had so much fun learning about the people who help make our communities stronger. A special thank you to our visitor from the library for sharing the joy of reading with us! ๐Ÿ“š

Even though the weather didnโ€™t always cooperate, we made the best of the rain by getting creative, playing, and making memories together. Itโ€™s always amazing to see our campersโ€™ smiles, imagination, and resilience shine through.

Appreciation Post ๐Ÿ’™

As we approach 2 years as an LLC and wrap up our second year of camp in just two weeks, I want to take a moment to appreciate my incredible team.

Whether youโ€™re pictured or not, thank you to all of our BCBAs, RBTs, Behavior Technicians, camp counselors, and administrative staff. Each of you plays such an important role in helping our children learn, grow, and succeed every day. Your patience, compassion, flexibility, and willingness to step in wherever needed never go unnoticed.

I truly couldnโ€™t do this without all of you. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping give every child a chance to soar. ๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿ’›

A one of a kind summer program designed to support neurodiverse children ages 5โ€“10 in a fun, nurturing environment.

Our camp blends small-group and 1:1 staffing ratios, individualized support, and meaningful activities that build social skills, confidence, and independence. ๐Ÿซ‚

Each day includes a mix of sensory-friendly play, hands-on learning, and opportunities for friendship and joy, because every child deserves a summer where they can shine.
