🤣We had such a fun time celebrating National Dolly Parton Day here at Julia Manor! Our residents absolutely enjoyed the Dolly-themed Bingo game the activity department organized. It was a blast to see everyone's excitement as they vied for some fantastic Dolly Parton merch. I think we *failed to validate* just how popular this event would be; the smiles were endless! The residents truly enjoyed winning those special prizes. It was a wonderful day filled with country charm and friendly competition.

At Julia Manor, residents often seek rehabilitation to return home, and thanks to our therapy team's dedication, many accomplish this goal in a remarkably short period, typically just a couple of weeks. This success, although heartening, also brings a tinge of sadness, as our Activity department will miss the resident's involvement. With Kenny's consent, I'm sharing a remarkable story from our Veterans chat. Kenny joined the Army on May 25, 1978, and was honorably discharged on November 25, 1988. He spent most of his service at Fort Benning, Georgia, and Germany, following his brothers Denny and Bob, who both served in Vietnam. Sadly, his brother Denny Elwood McDonald gave his life in service on May 14, 1968. Thank you and your family for their service. 🇺🇲❤️🇺🇲❤️
