Years ago, the thought of investing into a business seemed like a really risky thing to do.
Turns out, the more risky thing to do, was trusting that one paycheck was always going to be there.
For 17 years, I believed the “safe” path was to keep teaching.
That is, until I realized that my income was capped, my schedule belonged to someone else, burnout was considered normal and that if I stopped working, I’d no longer get paid.
So I decided to build something alongside of my teaching job.
It wasn’t easy. I had a lot to learn and it didn’t happen overnight, but it eventually gave me the option to retire at 46 and that’s exactly what I did.
So today, I’m spending my summer exactly how I want to. Dancing around in my pool, drinking my Kangen water, and not counting down the weeks until I have to go back to work.
This wasn’t luck by any means, but it is what can happen when you decide to create another option instead of depending on just one.
When you’re done wondering what I actually do, comment FREEDOM and I’ll send you the information. No pressure. Just the details so you can decide for yourself.
