Welcome our summer PT Student Malorie!
My name is Malorie, and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Hawaii Pacific University. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. My background in strength training, running, basketball, volleyball, and softball has fueled my passion for helping people move better, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love.
I have a strong interest in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports performance, injury prevention, and exercise-based treatment. I believe in an individualized approach to care and enjoy combining movement analysis, strength training principles, and patient education to help patients improve function and confidence. I also value the mind-body connection and take a holistic approach to supporting recovery and performance.
In my free time, I enjoy strength training, running, hiking, beach days, playing volleyball and basketball, and exploring Maui. I’m excited to try surfing and hunting, and have an interest in canine physical therapy as well.
