All 30 Golden Tickets for the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation car raffle have officially been claimed!

We are absolutely blown away by the support. Every ticket purchased helps fuel the mission of Hospice House and the compassionate care provided to patients and families throughout our community.

❤️ Talk about a full-circle moment.

Our friends at Home Instead sent us the sweetest surprise, and we couldn’t love it more.

Their team gathered together to present a $15,000 gift to the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation while thanking Hospice House for the care, compassion, and comfort provided to families throughout our community.

But here’s the beautiful part:

We’re the ones who should be thanking them.

Support like this is what allows Hospice House to continue being a place where patients are cared for with dignity, families are surrounded with compassion, and no resident receives a bill for their stay.

Home Instead has been an incredible supporter of our mission and of Midnight on the Ranch, and this generous gift is yet another example of what happens when community partners truly believe in caring for one another.

Comfort. Dignity. Compassion. Home.

These are more than words.

They are what Richard Murphy Hospice House was created to provide during one of life’s most tender chapters.

There are moments when there is nothing left to fix, schedule, accomplish, or solve. There is simply time.

Time to sit beside someone you love.
Time to hold a hand.
Time to tell the stories again.
Time to laugh, cry, pray, rest, and simply be together.

Richard Murphy Hospice House provides a place for that time to happen with comfort, dignity, and compassionate care surrounding every resident and every family.

And perhaps one of the most extraordinary parts of our mission:

No resident or family receives a bill for their stay at Hospice House.

That is possible because this community continues to show up.

Because people donate.
Because businesses sponsor.
Because volunteers give their time.
Because people attend our events, bid on auction items, purchase raffle tickets, honor loved ones with memorial gifts, and choose to support a place they may never need themselves.

Until one day, someone they love does.

That is why Midnight on the Ranch matters.

We’re incredibly grateful for community partners like Sun Outdoors who continue to go above and beyond in supporting the mission of the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation.

Join them for their Sun Outdoors Car Show on Saturday, September 12, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Ponchatoula for a day filled with beautiful cars, live music, vendors, raffles, trophies, and fun for the whole family.
