🚔 A Message to Police Academies, Training Directors, and Law Enforcement Leaders 💙

Every academy does an incredible job preparing recruits to survive the physical dangers of this profession. I’d like the opportunity to help prepare them for the challenges that often go unseen.

Through Behind The Badge Project and The Positive Pathway Podcast, I share my personal story—the successes, the mistakes, the consequences, and ultimately, the road to recovery. My goal isn’t to dwell on the past. My goal is to help the next generation of first responders recognize the importance of mental health, accountability, integrity, work-life balance, and asking for help before a crisis develops.

If my experiences can prevent even one recruit from walking down the same difficult path I did, then sharing my story is worth it.

I would be honored to speak with your recruits, officers, and leadership about the realities of this profession, the importance of supporting one another, and how we can build a culture where seeking help is viewed as a strength.

Together, we can prepare officers not only to protect their communities—but also to protect themselves.
