Nationals didn’t go the way she hoped.
How many times in life does that happen?
So... much.
....
The first reaction was disappointment. Tears. Frustration. The feeling that all the hard work should have added up to a different result.
But that's the thing about growth—it isn't built on the days everything goes perfectly. It's built in the moments that test us.
Resilience isn't pretending you're not disappointed. It's allowing yourself to feel it, learning from it, and deciding to keep going anyway....
Whether it's gymnastics, health, fitness, weight loss, hormones, or healing, the journey is rarely a straight line. Progress isn't measured by one competition, one lab result, one number on the scale, or one setback. It's measured by the willingness to show up again tomorrow.
We talk a lot about sustainable change. Not perfection. Not quick fixes. The people who ultimately succeed are rarely the ones who never struggle—they're the ones who keep moving forward when things don't go as planned.
Today wasn't the outcome she wanted. But the lessons in courage, perseverance, and resilience may be worth even more than a medal.
And that's a win that lasts far beyond the competition floor. ❤️
